The staff, knowledgeable and friendly, describe the origins and flavor notes of their diverse beans as if curating a fine wine list—a truly memorable touch. ​The essence of my LiLo experience was rooted in the attitude of the baristas. Moving efficiently within the small space, their focus on every step of the coffee-making process was a clear display of craftsmanship. For them, coffee is not just a drink, but a medium through which to deliver a perfect experience to the customer. Watching them maintain eye contact, passionately explaining the subtle differences between each bean to every inquiring guest, I understood why this place is celebrated as a "gem" among Osaka's countless cafes. ​My chosen pour-over coffee left a lingering impression of bright acidity and delicate sweetness. More than just being delicious, that single cup embodied the dedication and affection poured into the entire process—from selection and roasting to final extraction—by the LiLo team. "I have been to many good coffee places during my stay in Osaka, but LiLo Coffee Roasters is the only one that i have been there almost every day. You choose your coffee among 20+ different coffee beans. They prepare it quickly and deliver with info cards about the details of the coffee bean you selected and the barista prepared your coffee. I strongly recommend you to order hand-dripped coffee rather than a milky coffee to experience the real taste. Everything is great for this place. Only disadvantage would be that not many seating, a small place, so sometimes you may need to wait about 10-15 minutes. But it worths to wait!"

"Had a delicious cup of Tanzania beans cappuccino on a weekday night. My coffee came in a generous size mug, a Lilo booklet and a card about the beans. I didn't get the card about who my barista is but I think they offer that too usually. Unlike the other well known espresso coffee places in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo; there is table service here. Patrons don't have to collect or put back their own cups after ordering at the cashier. Which I appreciate that, so it feels less like a "vending machine" transaction. Tanzania beans were sweet and creamy with milk choco, suitable for late night drinking, not strong at all but still filled with layers of flavours. The staffs were attentive and friendly despite them being in the middle of packing beans. The small interior vibe was very chill and cosy. Cafe was decked out in a lot of cute, colorful LCR merch, fancy vintage coffee drips. Patrons were just quietly enjoying their coffee experience here, in this lovely, more local side of Shinsaibashi. Will cherish my Tanzania beans (freshly roasted only 2 days before the day I bought it), remind myself of Osaka and that 'life is short, surround yourself with good people and only drink good coffee'. ごちそうさまでした."
