"Great spot for a coffee break. I’m impressed with the surroundings and the little girl which take our orders, she’s so cute and speaks English well. It offers a variety of coffee beans and choices of drinks & cakes. We had a simple latte, piccolo, and banoffee. Unfortunately, the rice has already been harvested and left in small golden grains."

"Thingamajiggy Coffee Roaster is absolutely worth the 40 minute drive out of Chiang Mai city. I arrived just as they opened at 7am, and the moment I sat down with a cup of coffee, the cool morning breeze and quiet view of the rice fields made me feel like I had completely stepped out of the noise of city life. It is rare to find a place that feels this simple yet this special. The setup is nothing fancy, just one hut, one kitchen, a few benches, but that’s what makes it so charming. The coffee was excellent, smooth and well made. To be honest, I haven’t had a bad cup in Chiang Mai so far, but this one stood out for how balanced and comforting it was in that setting. Around 8.30am, fresh bread came out of the oven, warm and fragrant, and it was so good I kept eating more than I should have. It felt like food made with care, not rushed, and you could taste it. The owner and his small team of three were warm and welcoming. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there, which added to the whole experience. The owner was fully hands-on, making coffee, cleaning, watering the plants, chatting with customers. The whole vibe of the place felt light and happy, something you don’t often get in places where service staff are stretched thin or disconnected. It also looked like a popular stop for cyclists, who would pull up, grab a drink and rest before heading off again. That added to the feeling that this was a community space, not just a café. If you want something with soul, give the over-styled spots a miss and make the trip here. It is the kind of place you’ll remember long after you leave."

"Pet-friendly cafe with amazing coffee, view, and staffs! My little floof had a great time here! She was so calm and relaxed. ☺️ We also went on the day they had live music and it added such lovely atmosphere to the place."
