WOODBERRY COFFEE SHIBUYA

"One of the worst dining experience I had in Tokyo. I came here in February 2025 and enjoyed the meal so I wanted to come back to visit again. However, this time turned out to be an utter disappointment. First, the hojicha latte tasted like pure milk. Second, a big portion of the avocado in my Buddha Bowl was black. Last but not the least, they raised prices for almost 30% since February this year. Considering how mediocre the food is, this inflation seems quite outrageous. When I paid the bill, the staff saw almost untouched drink and asked me if I want to take it to go, I told him that no because this tastes like pure milk. The only response I got was an unapologetic and casual reply of "sorry about that". Don't say sorry if you don't mean it."

"i'm came here twice when visited japan. Coffee is excellent. It's very soft light and good (the level acidity) for my stomatch in the morning. First I try Latte and the second I try Latte Valencia. I love all of them. They have so many bean that we can sniff before choose. The cake Also amazing. The choice menu for brunch also interesting. But, because I'm a muslim, I can't blindly order the brunch menu. And buy vegan cake menu only. I wish there is information brunch menu safe or not for muslim like me (halal label) and wish there is choice for it. So I can try it. Definietly will tell my friend to come here if they are visit japan. And will come back everytime i'm visit tokyo. 🥰"

"Finding this place online we decided to try it out while being around the area. It was a very cosy coffee shop with plenty of parking space around. The staff were very friendly and their English was superb! We didn’t feel lost at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice cute brunch with excellent staff service!"

"Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow — I waited almost 20 minutes just to get my drink, which arrived after the food got cold. No one apologized or explained the delay. The food itself wasn’t good; even the pancakes were flat and lacked flavor. The place looks nice, but the staff and service quality don’t match the appearance. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend."

"Although we waited over an hour to be seated once we put our names, we moved our entire experience. Yes the wait was long but we noticed they intentionally do not over pack the cafe in order to uphold their quality of food and service. Best advice, go with patience and when you aren't starving unless you can be one of the lucky first customers. You can also request to-go to shorten your wait if you just want a coffee. I had my first ever charcoal latte called "Three Black latte" and it was amazing. While I wanted to come back each day our schedule didn't allow it but this cafe helped add to our very positive memories in Japan. We ordered the eggs Benedict and avocado toast with eggs, both meals were excellent!"
