Fujisan coffee roastery 百花テラス富士山珈琲焙煎所
A coffee spot in Yamanashi.
The coffee tastes really good, and the barista and staff are super friendly.
Ordered the Caramel Latte (iced) and it was really yummy!
Kudos to the owner that went the extra mile with service.

"This café operates only on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). There are a few parking spots reserved for customers right next to the café, which is convenient. They also offer baggage storage facilities, though we’re not sure how the system works. The café has a wide selection of specialty coffee beans for drip coffee. We chose the Jamaican beans, often referred to as the “king of coffee.” Unfortunately, the taste did not meet our expectations. The latte and lemon tea were also disappointing—the latte tasted more like regular coffee mixed with milk rather than a true specialty-style latte, which is our preference. We also ordered some desserts, but they were not very enjoyable. They were overly sweet, and the sweet potato dessert was served cold (perhaps that’s their intended style). That said, the customer service was truly outstanding. The staff were very warm and attentive, and they even performed a hand-puppet show while playing our national anthem, which was a unique and memorable experience. Overall, service was excellent, but the drinks and desserts did not match our expectations for a specialty café."
"We chose this cafe because we smelled the wonderful aroma of coffee while walking by. My family really appreciated owner’s warm service ,he even hummed a Thai song (or songs from your home country) while playfully dancing with a doll. It was so cute and fun! They also showed us how they roast coffee using the roasting machine in front of the shop. The coffee was smooth, rich, and very delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. If you love good coffee with a warm vibe and cheerful barista, this cafe is a must visit. 😊 ☕️ 🗻🌳🍁🍂"
"Though the space is small, there is a wide variety of coffee beans that would be fun to try for coffee lovers. The owners take their service seriously, but not too serious as they routinely do a playful puppet/national anthem show. Overall the experience felt very surprising and intimate. Highly recommended."
"Super friendly staff who asked where we were from and sang to us while performing a puppet show. I saw them sing for other patrons too! Hand drip coffee was excellent. Could savour the aroma of the coffee before drinking. Also has a selection of scones, donuts and croissants. Lots of interesting things on display inside. Bathroom is very clean. Parking available on site (look out for the lots with the shop name at the front of each lot). All in all, a lovely coffee and snack stop along our drive."
"The place is near the train station so you can stay here especially when its really cold outside. The food and coffee is great and the staff is very accomodating, you’ll experience japanese hospitality. The barista’s are very nice and the ambiance is peaceful. They have english menu via QR code so you wont have any trouble ordering."
